Home made outfit for MoB?

Hi guys,

My daughter is now getting married abroad and with all the costs this entails for us I really don't think I am going to be able to afford a couple of hundred pounds at least on a wedding outfit:(
I was 'mooching' on line and came accross this pattern, I have friends who would help me make it up but I don't want to look 'diy' what do you think, is it special enough?

Sal, of course it is special enough. The Jacket has a lovely line to it. Take time choosing the fabrics and when you do decide, unravel them from the roll and sling them over your shoulder.

That's absolutely special enough! I'm sure your daughter will want you to be happy and comfortable and not break the bank. It'll also be more personal to you.

MOB outfits are very expensive, my mum got hers in the Country Casuals sale and it looks lovely.
