F Me....the post was a bit of thinking aloud and written from my mind.

Perhaps it reads badly? Gen knows me in Internetland style and, if I was going to do a snidey remark (errr as if? !!!!!!?) then it would be written differently. It was just late night musing....like 'What if?''

DD This worthy tag you are trying to cultivate is getting on my T's a tiny bit and you make people fearful if they put their head above the parapet.

Well, my head is above it...so potshot away if you like.

Wind your neck in. Your quote just led on from something I saw posted by Dopester in a different thread. Both seemed to be a bit desparaging to the job role of 'Mortgage Advisor' - not really a surprise on this site.

I have a lot of time for Dopester and he seems to be a decent guy who wouldn't have a pop at Gen. I don't know you and haven't really read much of your stuff, but if you say your text was not a snidey remark, then I'll obviously take you at your word. Sometimes when pushing their favourite 'hobby horse' such as disliking estate agents or mortgage advisors, they forget that they're also indirectly having a go at the individuals on here who do those roles.

I do know that if I were in Generali's position and had been unemployed in a new country, I'd be pretty chuffed at landing a job, whatever that was. It just irked me that some people seem to be taking a bit of the shine off his new role.

Apologies if I was totally wrong on this.

But in the middle of all this angst and MSE drama, can I be the only one thinking ''ooooh, what gossip?'' ?

Perhaps I am next on the list of posters that DD would like to discredit and get rid of on the board.?....leaving it nice and clear so he can fill it up with his 'worthiness'. TBH, I couldn't give S*** but won't take it placidly.

    What 'list'?

Who have I 'discredited' and 'gotten rid of'?

Shops into a retail contraction when the world and his wife has at last figured out they can buy it cheaper online? It's nicely contrarian, I have to give you that, and maybe Napoleon was right after all.
