Quidco Equifax Cashback declined

I signed up to Equifax a couple of months ago on the offer that gives a month trial and then you pay £69 or something ridiculous for 12 months "gold" subscription. Obviously I cancelled the subscription within the trial period so I didn't have to pay. I did it through Quidco and £7.70 cashback tracked at the time, but I have just checked my account to see it has been declined. I suppose it's because I didn't go through with the subscription, but it seems a bit unfair, I doubt there were any terms and conditions specifically stating you mustn't cancel.

I'm sure I read on this board somewhere about this being a way to grab some cashback that has worked for other people. Any ideas why I got declined?

This wording may be new since you signed up, but would guess that cancelling is classed as abuse in equifax's eyes...

Please read the following before proceeding:

Any abuse of the programme will not be tolerated and might result in the cashback being declined.

Hows it unfair? You obviousley got declined due to cancelling the subscription, Not fair to people who get cashback for completing the 12 months, Your cheating them by cancelling and trying to run with the cashback. Thats why you where declined.

lol, of course it's fair, otherwise people would just do it for free money and they will go bankrupt..
