Hey All,
Just quick question! I've put in 4 chicken thighs in my slow cooker this evening, In normally cook for 2 and freeze 1 half, well I'm not gonna eat 3 portions!!! So is it okay to freeze the other 3 pieces and reheat them when suitable? Is it okay to do when on the bone? or does it not make any difference??
Thx
Sara

Its fine to freeze chicken on the bone. I have frozen whole cooked chickens with no problems because if the oven is on to cook one I may as well cook two.0

I freeze whole cooked and joints of chick all the time, haven't come down with salmonella yet. I always defrost naturally, not in the mircrowave, and make sure that they're thoroughly cooked - pinping hot -the second time around.0
