Lots of good cheap places for SD cards around. Try https://www.ebuyer.com or https://www.expansys.com or https://www.komplett.co.uk.

Failing that I always get mine from Ebay, usually buying the superfast SanDisks from US sellers

Whar a bargain! I've been trying to get onto Argos site all afternnon but it won't load. Tried 2 local Argos stores but they were out of stock.

Finally managed to reserve at Argos 600 miles away :o(it's ok, my brother was going to pick it up... ;D)

Anyway....decided not to get it now as it was intended as a present for my parents and on hindsight, I think it will be too complicated for them to use.

If anyone is struggling to get hold of one in Cornwall (Camborne store), drop me a PM and I'll give you the reservation number.
I have the mind of a criminal genius. I keep it in the freezer next to Mother....
  • Hmm here's a thought

The internet reservation e-mail shows Camera at 19.99 and printer at 79.99

What happens if people return the printer?

mad.dog - the other week I bought one of the GameBoy Advance packages which got a free ScoobyDoo game pack if you also bought the travel accessory pack. Had it delivered to home. Total cost - £89.98 plus postage for three items.
Decided I didn't want it so took it back for a refund - they refunded each separate item at the price instore on the day. Total refund £119.97!! Result. ;D
Gut feel though tells me they wouldn't let you refund just one of these camera/printers. But you could try it.

BTW - I tried reserving these in the Aylesbury store and they showed as in stock. When I put my email in for reservation number it showed only the camera in stock at £19.99 and the printer out of stock! So I have a reservation email showing the camera only at price £19.99. But I think when I get there it'll try to charge me full price (but I'm off to see anyway). :)

  • if you don't get them for saturday then you will not get them for £99-98

Well, I got both item from the local store and when I ask the salegirl if I can refund one of the item, she said yes for the printer but not the camera. As the camera is exempt from the 16 day guarantee. I will try to refund the printer tomorrow if I am succesful, I will post again. Hope to get the camera for £19.99 ;D ;D ;D, else will just sell it in ebay. ;););)

Btw, all 8 argos store, near my place, had sold out, at 5pm. >:( >:( >:(

Good luck for those trying to get the deal. :)
  • Got my camera and printer. :D

Tried to get a refund on printer but was told could only get refund on whole package otherwise I would be getting camera for £19.99 (that was the point!). Was worth a try. (when assistant went to do refund it needed authorisation code and when he had spoken to supervisor he refused refund. it looks like they had thought about this already, so I doubt anyone else will get a refund unfortunately) :(
Once I've saved it I spend it !!
