Ok, let me "dumb it down" for you.
The Scottish wikipedia has been "localised" for people who SHOULD be able to understand it i.e. the Scottish people. It therefore will invariably include words such as "glaikit", "sleekit", and "bairns".
If the posters who profess not to understand it wish to relay this back to the forum, I will utilise my right to free speech and suggest, that perhaps, they are not truly either:
a)TRYING
or
b)SCOTTISH
as per my post, if they were Scottish it would not be difficult (rocket science) to understand.
NOW do you comprehend? The word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.
It's LOSE, NOT LOOSE.

The problem with that site is it's more a mish mash of different dialects, and not one area, but then there would be too many different versions.Sometimes i surprise myself by being right.0
