Whos' patience has been stretched the most?

I have a case which is over 14 years old, complained, been to ICE, and I am now waiting for a calculation to be done by the CSA to establish how much I can claim in advanced maintenance. Ex partner is now paying back arrears at £22 per month which will take him over 51 years as he owes £13 K, won't happen as I doubt he will live to be over 100. Daughter will be in her 70's by then!! :D

My second case has taken over 6 months to assess due to computer glitches and it being made clerical, happy to say assessment has been done, first payment made to CSA by DEO on 16 April, paid to 'old system' in error, and this now apparently will take up to 15 Working days to move and pay to me! 15 working days up on 11 May, no idea what the timescales are if its not in my bank account on that date! Can't guarantee that this won't happen to future payments either.

Dizzy. x

I feel for you... I really hope you get everything sorted.

My dad left my mum, me and my brother and sister 11 years ago when we were 8,6 and 4. The CSA "couldn't" find him for 8 years and then it took them another 2 to try and get anything out of him.

He does not have to pay the 10 years arrears for 3 kids because he says he can't afford it.

He doesn't have to pay anything for me because I am now over 18.

He doesn't have to pay anything for my sister because she was 18 last month.

He only has to pay £10 A MONTH for my brother (15) but my mum has never received a payment and they say they can't make him pay.

In the meantime he has remarried and had 2 more kids and can afford 2 holidays a year.

I reckon he is lying to them but we have given up trying now.
