I'm the kind of weirdo that pays to a round figure. For example when the statement says total amount is xpounds and 32 pence I pay £100.32 :D

And I always look forward to payday!

Can I just ask, does anyone get a bit of a kick out of seeing the "recalculated" interest on the credit card statement coz you paid too much off :D
    End of 2010 I was £8,007.66 in debt :(
    Today's total: £7,297.06 :o

yes - I do this too! I've just made myself a new spreadsheet its all very exciting. Unfortunately since I've changed roles and don't do overtime anymore I can only afford to pay £500 a month off now (which I keep telling myself is a lot but I feel bad for squandering all my overtime money) but now try to stick to a budget.

I just sold my car as I've moved to London and no longer needed her (that was a sad day!) so used that and my regular payments to pay off my Ulster credit card. I feel great! Thats one less minimum payment to make per month! How is everyone else doing?
  • you arent a weirdo - because im excited about tomorrow - payday and an extra £300 - so thats also an overpayment on 2 balances - i do love seeing the balances go down - have takne all my cards out of my purse - cut 2 up and the 3 other i have placed into an evelope and sealed it with sellotape and given it to hubby. therefore he will will question me about it if i ever want them and also i thinks it pshycological in terms of opening mean failure. im hoping it ill work anyhow!!!
