Brilliant find, just a shame you have to pay the taxes on the way back but I suppose it's worth it for a couple of nights in Madrid ;)

you should be able to get some travelodge rooms for 20E a night to cover july dates, looks like a well cheapie trip!!!!!!!!!

I tried but I could not resist booking, have got 20-22 July including two nights in travelodges (one night in each), for the bargain price of £22.06 flights and 40 euros hotel for two. Hope others do as well or better even. Thanks richardw would have missed this one.

Ryanair? Just make sure you check-in for your return flight extremely early or else you'll be told you're late and you'll be turned away (the real reason being that the flight is full) only to spend the night in Madrid airport listening to other furious passengers, paying out about £100 per ticket for an alternative flight home to an airport different to the one you left from, then you'll need a hire car because you will arrive back in the UK at about 3:30am and you'll need to get you to your originating airport to pick up the car you left there, but you'll need a hire car company that allows pick-up and drop-off at different airports and allows drop off out of office hours, then you'll arrive home at about 7:00am exhausted, about £150 per person worse off, and furious with Ryan Air....

    don't bother

    (these are real experiences)

Myself and other friends and family have flown with them all over the EU with no such problems, with any airline you stand a chance of this happening (real experience).
