As I always seem to buy too many of these (I know, I should make my own ::)), just wondered if I can safely freeze them and, if so, for how long ???
Any advice appreciated.

I find the fine frozen. If you are freezing home-made I find it better to freeze them raw in the pattie tins. Shake out into a box/tub once solid and take out and cook from frozen as needed (re-using the pattie tins of course)Life's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0

Thanks both.

I'll be freezing them then. A real bind, but I'll have to try and make sure they're all eaten within the month. ;DWins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0 -
LoL, wouldn't last 5 minutes in our house!! My hubby is a human mince pie hoover!

A friend once made FANTASTIC mince pie ice cream, by stirring broken up mince pies that needed eating into some softened vanilla ice cream, and then re-freezing for an hour or so

Anyone got a recipe for making mince pies? I would just as soon go and buy them but daughter wants to have a go!0

easiest way, is basic shortbread pastry, and jar of mincemeat, which is quite cheap in asda. just bake bottoms, fill, put on tops and bake till golden on top,0
