I want to buy a Shed

Have looked at the ones in B&Q and compared them to ones in a Garden Center...B&Q prices are fine but the quality is dismal.
We are looking for wooden garden sheds with Tounge and groove flooring and Roof (not OSB), it needs to be 7 by 5, 7 by 6, 7 by 7 or max 8 by 6 to suit our needs and fit the space we have.
To give an example of the kind of thing we want, we found a lovely pent here http://www.atlassheds.co.uk but they will not deliver to the SW. Does anyone know any companies in the South West (we are in Bristol) that will deliver (and preferably) erect a good quality shed?

Thanking you all in advance for your help

Hi we bought a new one last year.We saw an advert in local paper 8x6 delivered and erected for £160.We went to a local garden centre were they must be agents for a company like the one you mentioned.
Have a look to see if a company advertises in your area. We`re pleased with our shed, much better quality than the B&Q ones.

Oh Dear.
It is SOoooo much cheaper to build your own and a load of fun too.
You can make it exactly the size required and choose the design i.e. window placement door position etc.
Lots of info & instructions on the 'net'. LOOK HERE for example.
Will take about a morning to construct after laying the base. Few hand tools and very little skill reqd.
I am about to construct a 18' X 30' Shed/barn 14' high. (Yep, ' = feet)
The sense of satisfaction far outweighs the savings, too.

Building one is OK but when I worked out the costs to build an 8' x 6' compared to buying a ready made, there wasn't much in it. I even chased the wood down to the importers to try and get it cheaper. Trouble I found was that most DIY mechants can buy in bulk, hence are able to drive the costs down. Then you have to consider the cost of the screws/nails, roofing felt etc. However, if you've got a source to get the bits cheap then go for it.
I ended up getting a second hand one from the local paper that was only 6 months old, half the price and in perfect condition.0 -
My local paper (Liverpool Echo) normally has adverts for sheds on the back page.
Ask your neighbours where they bought their sheds from, as different firms have differnet quality/build standards. When I moved house and got the 10' x 8' shed moved I was astonished to find the shed errector had only used 2 nails per side to fix the sides to the base :mad:0
