Bournemouth discount shopping?

My mum will be visiting Bournemouth for a few days at the end of the month. Does anyone know of any McArthur Glen type outlets in the area?Or good shoppin areas?She will have a car so can travel a bit. Poole maybe?

There's a TK Maxx in the town centre, top of the Burlington Arcade I think.
Otherwise you'll have to go to Portsmouth: either Whiteley Village (Junction 9, M27), or Gunwharf Quays (city centre).

Theres a TK Maxx at castlepoint shopping centre near Bournemouth hospital along side big stores of well known stores such as Marks and Sparks and smiths. Poole? Don't know most of the shops have shut down recently, but u may find a bargin somewhere in poole

Thanks for the replies. She was looking for a outlet village sort of place like in chester. Guess she'll have to hold back on shoppin that weekend!

Bournemouth town centre is great especially with all the sales on at the moment! Depends what sort of clothes or stuff she's after. All the surf shops have 20% or 3 for 2's on. There's a TK Maxx at top of high street. There is a factory shop that sells everything above wilkinsons..(which again is at the top of old christchurch road opposite TK Maxx)

The main department stores seem to have a few sales here and there too!

Then Boscombe which is about 5 min drive has a huge Primark and great pound shops!!!
