Maybe not the best spec available but these IBM notebooks are very robust.

try woolworths seen a canny 1 there today for £499 dvdrom cd rw 40gig hd and 2.5g processer of what i can remember

Staples are offering Acer Laptops with 40gb hdd, 1.5 processors and dvd-rw at £599. Seems like a good deal.

Regarding Morgan Computers - after a massive row with Morgan in Birmingham many years ago, I'd never walk through one of their doors again (except maybe with a sledgehammer in my hands).
