I have a ever growing stash of mens stuff ( more than my other half will use ) so I got some florists cellophane and made up lots of little hampers for sale at my local bootsale ( pocket money/credit crunch fathers day gifts )
Just incase someone else is trying to think of way to make some money and reduce their stash - just need to figure out what to do with my Herbal Essences now !!! hth

It's my DD no1's boyfriend birthday on the 7th June and he will be 18 and he brought me a nice present for my big birthday in April and I want to buy him some nice aftershave for his birthday. Apparently he likes Armani Code and I have been checking out the shops to see where I can get it the cheapest and I'm afraid Boots is one of the most expensive:eek:QUOTE]
I looked up the main notes in Armani code, which are lemon, bergamot, tonka.
If you go to basenotes.net and ask for pefumes with those notes, you get a long list (the Armani is near the top). You could perhaps find something very close but cheaper, and tell him you think he'll like it. I have done this for a very picky son-in-law, and he was rather taken with the idea.

I have put mine in cello bags with an artificial rose cut from a large 99p flower bunch and then six ribbons curled. Sounds awful but actually looks quite stylish.
Sorry for chat. Anyone else missing the chat thread?

Hi in Crawley Boots yesterday there was a Sanctuary rep giving out vouchers for a Free Sanctuary Mela Body Scrub worth £5.95 when you purchase Mela Body Butter (£7.45).

She let me have a try from her sample of the Body Butter which was lovely (Rose & Pistachio).

She said that unfortunately the Body Scrub was out of stock and so she was doing some other offers on the range. If you bought a Mela Shower Drench (£5.45) you got a free 50ml Mela Body Butter. If you bought a Bath Nectar (£8.76) you got 3 x 50ml Mela Body Butters free! I went for the 2nd offer as I thought that was a really good deal.

She came with me to the tills to let the SA know that the Body Butters were free and she just put them into the bag without scanning them, so I don't know what they would sell for.

She also gave me 3 of the vouchers to use when the Body Scrub came back into stock. The vouchers are valid 22.5 09 - 8.6.09.

The only thing that annoyed me a bit though was when reading the voucher today, it showed the cost of all the new Mela items and the Bath Nectar is shown as £6.95. Don't really know if I want to go back to query it, seeing as I got 3 free body butters, but nearly £2 extra is a bit cheeky don't you think? Maybe it was a typo .. I hope so!

Anyway, if you love Sanctuary like me, maybe this offer is nationwide - look out for the rep!

Well the new voucher out on 3rd of june is........a smelly!! or stinker!

Yes the 5.00 fragrance voucher is back, another one i don't need!

    hth

    Zoe

edit; you get the voucher on a 10.00 spend!
The sunglasses voucher is valid until 21 June so anyone wanting to use it, it might be as well to wait until the fragrance voucher is out on 3 June, You would still have to spend £10 in cash (I guess) but not difficult to do when buying sunspecs at Boots prices.
It will be interesting to see if the fragrance voucher is issued on less than £10 cash if using sunny/shady.

This was exempt last year. (i know because i use it)
The Armani on the fragrance vouchers was Emporio Armani last time & guess what.......Yep.....Code is Giorgio Armani

    I am distraught.:rolleyes::D

3 Boots i have visited today in search of the Sanctuary vouchers for the new range. Nothing. Nada. Zip.

So if anyone visits one in the Derby/Midlands area, could you be so kind as to let me know where they have hidden them :o

Or i shall be forced to have an incomplete collection of Sanctuary
    Oh the shame of it:o

im going to test it too. I think its vitamins
It's a vitamin and food supplement with milk. which after 2 days of trialling appears to have made me violently ill. By the time I felt well enough to make a call, they had shutdown operations. I do not have any allergies and it is not somethign I have eaten or drunk as my vegetarian flatmate ate and drank the same things yesterday. However I was very ill at both ends all night and as weak as a kitten this morning.

    Anyone else doing this trial?

    Hi KK22

I was in Braehead yesterday and the clearance section is still there. It is at the back of the store next to the baby clothes beside the photo counter.

Not much on it mind you. A few ink cartridges some tena lady and cant really remember what else nothing that caught my eye tbh.

hope that helps you for next time :D

    Sorry for the delayed reply!

I spotted it the very next day as well, turns out it was only gone for one day and that just happened to be the day i was there!

Does anyone know if Glasgow Fort or St Enoch Centre boots stores have a clearance section?

    TIA
