first post on this thread so please be gentle with me! Went to Boots in Aintree, Liverpool yesterday. They had loads of Dr Who flannels for 12p - the ones that come as a tiny little round thing and when you put them in water they turn into a flannel, so great as stocking fillers. They also had 30ml tubes of rose Balm Balm reduced to £1.50 from £6.00. I bought 3 but there were still quite a few left. I have previously paid £6 for this but wouldn't again, although I think it is definitely worth £1.50 as you can use it everywhere so great for taking in hand luggage if you want to travel light.
3 stone down, 3 more to go

Today I managed to get hubby 2 x boxes of cinnimint chewing gum 105 pieces for £3.49 a box, he has finally kicked the habit.

Mr Mascara magnifying mirror for your handbag £1.35
Anthony sport foaming face cleanser £3.00
    Menu -U shaving brush & stand £2.19
    Anthony sport spot cream FREE

    3 x FCUK bodywashes £1.98

Used my sky James Brown voucher and bought the mini Conditioner £1.96, 4p change.

No Kos left, Ted Baker etc.

Found a lovely pair of sunglasses that I liked handed over my sunglasses voucher and asked the SA for the balance to be paid in points which she agreed to. The SA next to her jumped in and said Nooooooooo, tut, tut you cannot do that, the SA said 'why not' and the other SA said it was to do with the points system. Anyone else had this problem or is it just my store making up the rules again. MTIA.

Slightly off topic loads of Urban Retreat in our TKMax today £2.99 shampoo and the body wash, there was other stuff but I forgot my glasses so could not read it.

Unfortunatly the SAs are right. If you are using any vouchers you can not then pay the balance with points.

It seems its still definitely worthwhile heading down the mens aisle, and the nail/accessories aisle at the moment.

I got 3 fcuk mens full size bath soaks for £1.72 (86p each and 342), there were still a fair few Hackett, Mens expert, Anthony Sport, Charles Worthington too, mega reduced on the SELs, although few products around. Not much KOS, but I'm going to a couple of smaller branches tomorrow, so I'll have a look there. I saw loads of mega-reduced SELS on manicure stuff, tweezers, Jemma Kidd, Mr Mascara, Miss Manicure, and got a Boots mini manicure set for 75p :D.

I bought 1 mini Gorgeous feet scrub, 1 mini Gorgeous feet moisturiser, got the bogohp, but the 200 points mag voucher beeped (said qualifying conditions not met). It took 4 different tills and 3 SA's to finally override this  - don't think I'll bother doing that again!

In the past all of the vouchers have said can't be used in part payment with points - that's why I've never used the glasses ones.

Aintree - I GOT A FREE ILLUMINATOR VOUCHER FOM ACM:D:D:D nearly wet myself!! I got the line lift, illuminator powder and a free GWP - now this is where it all went pear shaped I gave in the 1/2 price line lift, then the 250 points from GWP then the free highlighter voucher ( am useless on vouchers) - till beeped and the girl tried to do it by taking off the GWP, still wouldnt work - thought I was busted but off she went and got the manager ( I am now sweating!!;)) manager looked in bag, and overrode it!!! RESULT - total price £6.50 and 250 points back!!!!!

Do you have to buy another no.7 cosmetic to get the highlighter, or does the line lift count.
