Noticed that Cosmopolitan has travel sized Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner free at the mo if anyone is in need of more HE:eek:. The mag costs £3.30 so it's an expensive way to buy the shampoo/cond. but an added bonus for anyone who buys the mag anyway. In view of my stockpile, I shall resist the temptation!

popped in there today on my way home from work, they have a clearance stand right next to the tills with everything £1.

they had loads of Dr Nick Lowe, skin doctor, and olay regenerist products, time delay microdermabrasion and glycolic peel kits amongst others that usually go for anything between £10-30.

I couldn't believe it! of course I stocked up, but there was still loads left about 1/2 hour ago so if you live in the area and can get there by 8pm when it shuts....

NOt quite as good but Elephant & Castle still has the ted baker eye gel and the moisturiser- I think about 1.70 each

they have the freida weatherworks spray balm was about 4.80 for 1.60 - the stuff in E&C never seems to sell out- that balms been there 2x weeks - apart from when I sweep the shelves asI did last week :T
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...

Im going to Romney sands next week, can anyone tell me if there are any good Boots near there please.
    TIA Claire

Oh dear! Is this Romney Sands in Kent near New Romney?
If so nearest Boots is small one in Hythe - not seen any bargains there myself.
Otherwise Folkestone usually has clearance stand and there are two Boots in Ashford, one in town centre and one on Business Park off Junction 10 of M20. Both have clearance stands but it is hit and miss with what you find there, like most stores I guess!
Folkestone is about 8 miles from New Romney and Ashford is about 10 miles from New Romney.

If you do the "order online, collect from store" thingy, do you get your points put on card when you pick up item or does it do it from inputting details online? I am after a Maxi Cosi car seat which is on offer at £168 which gets about 642 points I think (woohoo!!!). Also does anyone know if the Baby Magazine is only available in larger stores as I they never seem to have it in my local (v.small) store?

    Hi,
the points get credited to your account almost straight away, to get them onto your card go to an acm in store about 5 days after you pick up your order. They will be added onto your card when you put it into the machine. hth
edit - just thought, have you included the extra 500 points you can get with a code for spending over £55?

  • Hi all you bootsers :D

I read this thread as much as i can and can't believe the bargains that you all find :T

I'm on holiday now and decided to have a drive out to Boots, to see what bargains i could find. Did i find any??? Nothing  ha ha ha

Is it certain stores that have these amazing offers? I went to the Doncaster Wheatley store, about 15 mile drive and didn't see any clearance stands. I scoured the shelf edges for price reductions, but there were no 'wow, that's a bargain' prices.

Going to make it a mission to find them now :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi Nuninge, they are nearly £10 in store as well, but as Broclo posted, they are being found reduced instore... so grab them now if you can.

In my store, a main one, they are along the aisle from the baby beakers, plates, bottles, etc. You can normally find them somewhere near the baby stuff, ie breast pumps, bottles, sterilisers, etc. If you can't find them, just ask an SA for the baby health and safety items.

    HTH

Has anyone ever had any problems with delivery addresses before? I live somewhere perfectly normal, have never had any problems getting stuff delivered from other websites but Boots.com says it can't deliver to my postcode therefore I cannot even get my items into my basket to ask for the free instore collection:eek: (which ends today).
