Recently discoved this thread and loving it!!

The Soltan voucher for 300 points might be able to be redeemed against the aftersun of which the cheapest bottle of is £2.30 as they are now half price. Also they are on BOGOF according to the signs, but unfortunetly not the tills or the SA I tried to ague the point with a bit. :rolleyes:

I also tried to get the TB bags at two different shops and at both came up as £14.xx

I have successfully used all 3 vouchers together about 2 weeks ago, however my voucher from the mini mode booklet was the one expiring on 31/5/09... but bet you don't have a problem with the new one! I got £92 worth of clothes for £20 :j I was nearly doing cartwheels out of the shop!! :rotfl: May try with the new one if I can find one this afternoon.... HTH

i managed to get some reduced baby botanics stuff at 75p in boots today and also used 100 points coupon so got paid 25p for it!! managed to print 4 of the vouchers out too!

Thanks to whomever it was that posted about reduced SEL on shampers. I avoided the cheap HE and nabbed some head and shoulders for 48p and some schwartzcoff (sp?) for 49p.

There was also lots of the manicure, nail files, fake nails and Miss mascara stuff on a big stand with a few JKidd cheek brushes and handbag brushes for a few pounds. I managed to get a cosmopolitan eye brow brush/comb for £1.66 for my mum who has been after one for ages!

Pampers active fit are on 2 for £14 which is a cracking deal for 100 nappies and don't forget to use the £1 off parenting voucher!

Plum baby porridge was also 1/3rd off I think.

Just a quick post from teddy x

I picked up some reduced No17 nailvarnish for 50p
and a reduced mirror for £1.15, plus the No17 gwp.
But both the till and the SA said no.
The SA pointed to the display and said the gwp was not free with reduced items,
but it may have been due to the fact that one item was the mirror.
Has anyone else had success with reduced items? TIA

Been there, done that. I said it doesn't state it's a mini even on the SEL. it wasn't the SA who turned it down but the till itself saying it didn't qualify. Even got the manager over. It worked lovely last time this voucher was out. Just wanted to see if anyone else managed to get it and if all tills are doing this nationally. Would I have the nerve to try in another store?:o

oh thats annoying! It worked the last time it was out.

I needed another dozen or so for my stash :rotfl:

Yes I was successful today, first trip into a Boots for a long time.:D

17 Soft liner pen reduced to £1.72

17 Nail Polish reduced to 63p

Took the GWP and it went through fine.:D


Think it was the mirror because the stand does says GWP when you buy 2 17 cosmetics.


Best find of all was a lonely Benefit lipstick reduced to £3.00.:T I've never seen Benefit stuff reduced before so was well pleased.

Thankyou for mentioning shampoos are reduced on SEL's needed some as seem to have used up all me HE ones. Managed to pick up a few pantene ones for 75p. Going on holiday next week for 10 days and needed to find some to take with me.
