afternoon all:
Aintree - loads of hair dyes down to £1.37 - various brands but absolutely loads of choice of colours and makes. loads of ted baker sets by the door but didnt bother trying them as I bought 6 when the OP mentioned them so thought I would leave them for someone who needed them ( or couldnt be bothered to say I didnt want them when they came up full price;))
Southport chapel st - absolutely loads of shampoo's down to 49p, HE 73p a bottle and BOGOF:D I know everyone has got loads but that is a really good price. Fructis 75p a bottle and also BOGOF. Hairspray 37p, loads on the shelves. Got 2 x £2 haircare vouchers and bought 4 bottle of UG shampoo down to £1.22 a bottle so ended up costing me 88p for 4 bottles:D
Central 12 - no signs up about BOGOF on the shampoo but got my best SA to check for me and the HE is 50p a bottle and also BOGOF - so worth checking in diff branches for the price - got 4 x bottle for £1:D0 -
Oooh an exciting day - mailings, £2 off salon haircare till spit, and new acm vouchers :j.
Mine and OH's mailings are
usual double points and 150 points wys £20
25% off method almond flower or white tea handwash
100 points wyb Boots extracts body or sugar scrub (doesn't mention a size though, are there minis in this range?)
100 points wyb GoodWorks bathing range
save 200 points on No7 cosmetics when you pay in full with points
£2 off No7 for men
Popped into teeny Boots round the corner from the house - loads of haircare products on 75% off prices on SELs. They don't do a lot of salon brand in that shop, but they did have 4 different john frieda ones at 75% off (around £1.xx), plus some Trevor Sorbie mens styling products. Sun n swim (is that right?) reduced to around 50p, head n shoulders (the big bottles) £1.25 etc. I got a Preference hair dye for £1.59 (there were a couple of ranges, plus the Boots range, and about 8 shades, all around £1.60, even in this teeny shop). Plus a john frieda brunette shine hairspray for £1.18, and 2 TS mini shampoos and conditioners for 39p each. Paid with points, cos its not payday yet.
But oh deary me, with a haircare till spit and all these reduced salon brands kicking around, it looks like I might be back to Bootsing full pelt again shortly!0 -
Was quite devastated to discover when i got into town today that my "boots envelope" full of coupons and ad card was not in my bag
Id gone to use my fragrance voucher today - fathers day pressie - and had planned to get two of the haircare vouchers and boost my points with an acm voucher
However, my bad mood disappeared when i came home emptyhanded because my mailing had arrived
So now i can buy the aftershave on saturday using the extra and double points coupons as well as extra points from the ad machine, plus i now know to look for reduced professional haircare products to use the vouchers onso thanks everyone for that tip!
In my mailing i got:
350pts wys £40 x 2
double points (use twice)
free pure nail varnish wyb 2 pure cosmetics
£2.50 wys £10 or more on healthcare
£3 off No7 for men
Save 200 points when you pay for no7 with ad card points
The last one was twice as big as the others, perhaps a 'subtle' hint that they want me to get rid of a few of my 12,734 points before i bankrupt them by suign them all at once!!
I might use the last one if theres a good no7 glitch/last acm vouchers, and obv the point vouchers will get used, but the other 3 are useless
Interestingly OH got a mailing despite having a balance of 0 points lol, but it was a letter not the booklet. But he has kindly given me his card to keepso i now have:
£2 off no7 for men
Double points (use twice)
150pts wys £20 or more
Im glad i hung onto the fragrance vouchers, its often the best thing to do if the expiry date is after the date they stop giving them out because that way you can sometimes combine them with realy good offers because boots know most people have used/lost/forgotten them after changover
Sorry for long post, good luck everyone with finding the new glitches!!!I enjoy money-saving and am slowly entering the world of online earnings - aiming to pay for Christmas 2015 from extra income earned in 2015.
So far: Bubblews £16.19 . Swagbucks £25, Neobux £1.29, Clixsense -.
Freebies/wins 2015: 2 x Convent Garden soup boosters, mini L'Oreal foundation, LG smartphone, mini Clinique face wash.0 -
