Well I am disgusted by some people greediness.
I'm just back from my lunch hour and thought I'd try to find some TB bags for my BF, and 2 x brothers. The first store didn't have any but the second one has loads so I walked back to the entrance to get a basket.
When I returned to the shelf one 'lady' has comandeered 2 lovely SAs to clear the shelfs, they had filled 2 baskets, I was just standing there looking at the baskets when the 'lady' asked how many she had, one SA replied there were 19, so was then instructed to return one to the shelf.
Well I didn't buy the one and there were no others out the back as I asked and there didn't seem any point when I could get 3 for the price of 1.

So, please, tell me what someone will do with 18?!!

Hooray, managed to bag myself 3 lovely TB bags today at Burton upon Trent, thankyou very much OP who found these, birthdays now sorted for the men.

When I see something that is a really good deal, I grab it and then go get the basket if I don't have one yet. If I had seen 19 on the shelf I probably would've thought I had time to retrieve a basket, too, but your experience is a reminder to me to go ahead and grab something when I see it even if there are plenty! I've seen employees swoop down on a good deal and clear the shelf off, too, so things really can disappear in an instant.

i really cant understand how some people only think of themselves, this lady obviously wanted to line her own pockets and didnt spare a thought for any one else that might have liked to save a few quid.
also boots should have a "fair quantity" policy to stop this from happening!

Well yes that's what I usually do but there was two shelves full, so yes I did think I'd have time to find a basket and walk back!! It was only a few feet! :mad:

Anyway I believe in karma :rolleyes: and hope to check another store tomorrow. I will find these elusive bags!!

They had the TB sets in Bedford today but they were full price!!!

I managed to get 3 TB sets in Watford Harlequin. They were on a display stand at the back upstairs near the baby change room.

Also found some Method Kids shower gel reduce to £1. (looked at the baby mag and found a voucher at the back which I thought I could have used but have now noticed it is 100 points on Method Baby so feel relieved now that I know I haven't missed a trick!!!)

You mean you don't automatically grab a basket on your way in :eek: I always do just in case a glitch /products I'm looking for is available

Noticed when I got Malteasers in Meal Deal that it states 175g bag but the ones I picked up had 135g on the back. I checked a few stands/bags and altho they are all the exact same size they were stating 175g or 135g on the back of the bag. Im wondering if thats how the Malteasers are going thru as a snack with the Meal Deal. Sorry for long post. HTHS
