I want to adopt a monkey.

I'd like to adopt a monkey, as a first wedding anniversary present, to give to my monkey mad friends!
I've never done anything like this so I'd appreciate some help. As it's a gift it would need to be a lump sum payment and not monthly.

This should be the link - they do have adopt a primate schemes that run for 12 months. You can adopt anything from orangs to chimps and gibbons. Look at the primates you want to adopt then go to the gift shop and select adoptions. You get a certificate and even a visitor pass so that you can visit the animal

I have adopted an orang utan through Monkey World for a number of years. They send an info pack and certificate when you adopt, plus newsletters two or three times a year and a christmas card! The adoption also gives you free entry to the park (but just for one person unless you adopt two monkeys of course!)
