20 week ultrasound

I'm looking for a bit of advice. Although I live in the north coast (near Waterfoot), I have registered to have baby no.2 in Craigavon hospital's Midwife Led Unit (DS there nearly 5 years ago and I had very excellent care).

I've just got my appointment for my 20 week scan and I'm being sent to Dungannon hospital. What I want to know is there any difference between the equipment at Dungannon & Craigavon. I was planning on changing the appointment so I can attend Craigavon (it is closer) but if Dungannon has better machines then I would leave it as it is.

Anybody have experience dealing with them?

same ultrasound machuine - i've been to both. dungannon takes any woman closer to that hospital, and at the minute due to an apparent "baby boom" in craigavon area - they are also taking the overflow from craigavon - so the liklihood is that you wouldnt be able to change your appointment (my sis is pregnant and tried a couple of wks ago and was told no chance).

so in a nutshell same equipment, same procedure.

I was hoping one of them had newer machines!! Oh well hope springs eternal.
