No what i was saying is that since the start of this competition, you couldn't enter daily through the website, as it wouldn't accept the same email twice. You can only enter once per person, per day, regardless of how many email addy's you have.

If however you have more than one mobile you could enter for as many mobiles as you own.

The quote i posted, was a woman from strongbow telling us that its not been fixed, meaning the online daily entry now works.

Also, i've had a reply back in regards to the repeated txt confirmations we have to send if we enter online.

Unfortunately this is the case - Basically, we need to check that the number people provide is valid and has not been entered maliciously or otherwise against someone's will. This is particularly relevant for an alcohol brand, where we are trying to prevent misuse by minors and others. This kind of belt and braces approach ensures we are not infringing any legislation or terms & conditions.

Instances where the mobile check is vital is if a minor was to appropriate a telephone number belonging to their parent and enter on line, the additional mobile check for confirmation operates as a further guard against them getting through. Performing the check everytime an entry arrives from that number ensures that the minor can't just get lucky once and carry on abusing the facility in the future on a misappropriated number.
