Not sure if I have asked this before or not and apologise if I have.
Are candles still popular and would they sell? I have the opportunity to buy a bulk amount and thought I could sell them on at car boots or at work etc

Hi
I did the same - I bought a job lot of candles and accessories from a lady who needed to move house and couldnt fit the pallet into her van. She had bought it for £300, and I bought it from her for £50. I had 2 large christmas tree type tealight holders and I sold these for £25 each at Xmas at a car boot. So anything else I made was profit. I have found the Polish and Eastern Europeans love candles and buy each week. Incense was popular, and pot pourri. Scented candles, especially gel ones, were popular. But I have been left with a few bowls and plates which I cannot shift for 50p each !! I wanted to sell remainder on ebay, but with glass items it makes posting them risky ( I wrap items like a 2 yr old !)
If you have work colleagues and local car boots, I think it would work well. But you need to buy cheaply in the first place. A local place near me just sells pallets of Colonial Candles on ebay, but the cost per item is quite high for reselling on boot fairs but perfect for friends and markets.
So in short (!!) yes I think its still popularVR repayment £404 £156.02 PAID
Airpods repayment £249 £185 £75.90 PAID
Airpods repayment £144 £99.01 PAID
Capital One £14000
