10 minutes ago, my "competition" mobile just rang - number with-held.
I answered it and a lady asked if I was XXXX XXXX.
I replied that I was.
The reception was poor and the call started breaking up but I heard her say "I'm calling from S????? magazine...."
Then it cut off!
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! :mad:
She hasn't rung back.
Hope she didn't think I cut her off.
I have no number to call her and I only caught that the magazine began with an S.
Gutted. Probably was just a marketing call anyway.... :rolleyes:

I've got my 'phone on charge, willing it to ring again.
She heard me say yes to my name so I'd have thought IF it was a win then she would call back immediately.
That's what I'd do if I was cut off.
I'd have called her back if the number wasn't with-held.
It's just the not knowing.

Yep, asked if I was XXXX XXXX then asked if I'd entered a competition with them a couple of months ago.......which kinda made my heart race a bit but it was just a marketing call in the end Just become FTBs & Aiming to be mortgage free by 2034
