Green Carpet Cleaning

I've done a reasonably thorough search (I think!), but I am looking for a company which will do carpet cleaning without chemicals.

Is this in fact just steam cleaning? Or are chemicals used for steam cleaning too?

I think carpet cleaning without chemicals would be seen as steam cleaning,only uses water.I dont know of any companies that do steam cleaning.Why dont you buy a steam cleaner and do it yourself (i have an earlex steam cleaner which i bought out of Argos about 5years ago and its very powerful.Dosent take long to steam clean 4 rooms and carpets look like new.

Brilliant, thanks kitekat. We were trying to avoid doing it ourselves as I'm 7 1/2 months pregnant with twins and we've got a long list of other stuff that needs doing, but maybe we'll hire one and give it a go.

If you are steam cleaning less frequently, it is far more cost effective to rent a steam cleaner.
