Not very clever marketing if you ask me
.............................
They can only cost a couple of pence to make - I think they should give them away to try and get people to use their nework
It's actually good marketing to charge for the SIMS, as it's all about revenue per user 8)
I think Orange want quality customers. ;D
If the customer cannot afford £4.99 for a SIM card....how on earth will they pay for the calls and texts? ???0 -
Luckily i have recieved the sims i ordered on saturday.....these are all going to be great presents. However people that havent recieved thiers yet will get it tomorrow or christmas eve..... so good luck.
The sims come with £1, but you have to register to get this credit. Thx all.

Well my ones turned up today, all five and I am not ashamed to say I got 5 free....5...5, yes F-I-V-E. They're not going to sit in a drawer though and will be used and given to my family.

How do they know if the one's who received the free sims are 'QUALITY' customers. :-/
Like you say, if people are desperate to get their hands on free sims, maybe they can't pay their bills either. !! :-/
I don't think so !! :-/If only everything in life was as reliable...AS ME !!

Might be an idea to change the title - "today" was a few days ago. So long ago that my 5 free SIMs have already arrived.0

Well, anyone who cant afford the 4.99 for the sims should just look on ebay. On there you can pick any PAYG sim you want and they stuggle to sell for .49p, some go for 1p.
Even if the vendor charges £1.50 for postage, thats still a lot cheaper than the £4.99 here.

My two Orange Sim cards arrived yesterday, but I can't get one of my phones unlocked to use it :(
If any one else would like it, I would be happy to send it on to them. Please PM me.
Edit: Sim now gone.0
