I'm after a Bridgestone BT45 for my bike (CB500).

Where is the cheapest place to get one?

I'd prefer to ride the bike in and have them remove the front wheel and refit, rather than having to bring the front wheel to them.
Jim.

Harry's Tyres is long gone from Hyndford Street I think, there are a number of houses on their site now. I don't know if they moved elsewhere though, sorry.

Yes, I read it had closed on another forum and that the guy who owned it was now working in Charles Hurst tyres on the Airport Road. I used to go to Harry's Tyres a few years ago for my other bike.

I've spotted the tyre on Phillip McCallen's site for £51 which is about £10 cheaper than any where else on the net I can find. Don't know how much it would be balanced and fitted though.

One avenue for cheap tyres to try depending on your wheel/tyre sizes is someone who races in supersport classes, they must use road legal tyres and they can often be bought from them with only a few laps on them at reasonable prices compared to dealer prices.

I use geoff kernohan at ballyhackamore, seems reasonable for tyres. He beat hursts for a new rear by a couple of quid

Yep charles hurst @ sydenham is where most of the ppl from Harry's went. In fairness I haven't been in a year as i've given up road biking or so but it's the only place I went after Harry's closed.
