Compost/fertiliser Required

I just know this is going to get some comments, but...

We have quite a large garden and I need a quantity of compost or fertile manure, etc, to dig into the flower areas. I need about a ton or more. Can anyone recommend/suggest anywhere (other than Parliament!) where I can order some. It's quite expensive in my area for some reason. I already compost our own veggie trimmings etc, but it will not be ready for another year or so.
