Washing machines

I had my Beko washing machine repaired a few weeks ago, £40 and now it has died on me i.e. no power - I wish I had kept the money now towards a new machine, nevermind. It's true what they say you get what you pay for..... think I've had the machine for only 3 years, so I don't want to make the same mistake again. Does anyone know what make of machines last longer? Although not wanting to spend silly money. It might be worth mentioning that I have dogs too.

Meile machines are built to last, I have found Bosch/Siemens to be pretty good though.

I've just purchased a Bosch washing machine (delivery Wed), this was after a washing machine repairer recommended them.

After many years of cheap washing machines I have invested in a Siemens one which so far is fantastic. I bought it from comet auctions and it cost about £400 but that was about £200 off list price as there is a scratch somewhere ( Not sure where as only the front shows) https://www.clearance-comet.co.uk. You will need to register first and then you bid just like Ebay but the money is debited from your card immediately.

I am waiting delivery of my new cooker which was about £150 less than list price too
