Total fitness gym membership fees

Hi all, just wanted to let you all know that after much haggling,
Total Fitness offered me a full couple membership for £50 per month. It was tough to get and was only offered when I advised I was going elsewhere.

I was once a member of Total Fitness for #20.00 a month. The way I did it was to join a club way down south miles away from me, but you can use any club you want so I used the one closest to me at the time (bolton I think). Strange why the prices differ so much from club to club.
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....

Which club did you get this at please? I'm looking for a similar membership so would be most grateful for any tips!

    Thanks in advance

My local total fitness is £42.99 a month for a single adult! If you say you will go else where or cancel they do not offer anything.

    I am in yorkshire

I was able to get my membership for £47 a month (I live in London and things here cost more). I get to go to any gym of the same brand (LA Fitness) in the whole of the UK at any time of the day (great when visiting relatives). I also got a month and a half free and the gym go free towels and fre shampoo and etc. (Just wish they would improve the air conditioning- or make wearing deodorant mandatory!)

I got mine the third week of the month (when gym people are tying to get their figures up to scratch) and go at a quiet time of the day- haggling often takes place on the gym floor/where customers can hear and if your trying to undercut the average membership price, the other members could get stirred up- not what the membership person wants!
