They've sold all their stock, made targets for May already, and are having a well deserved rest before the summer bounce arrives.
  • whether the market stablizes or not in terms of price doesn't help estate agents. transaction are what pays the bills and transaction not so high right now imo

Well, yes but we should still get time off! Everybody else has the day off don't they? Or most people anyway. Having said that, here I am at my desk

and posting on MSE:rotfl:business a bit slack today?

Yes business was pretty slow now you mention it!! Think it was because we were the only agent who was open, just me in though. Lol, there's only so much I can do when there's no solicitors open and everyone is out enjoying their day off.

is it not meant to be the busiest time of year??????

    Hmmm. Window shoppers...

The estate agent down the road from me has been open about 18 months and I've never seen ANYONE in there aside from the staff*. I've never seen window shoppers either - though I did see six police cars the other night as their window was smashed and their fancy plasma telly taken. A tough business, estate agency. :D

*Mind you, the chinese restaurant on the other side never has customers either and it's been hear decades. I swear my entire neighbourhood consists only of !!!!! run money-laundering operations.
