Has anyone used a neti pot or something similar?
My daughter has had sinus problems and I came across neti pots when i googled a remedy without medication (she is pregnant).
I decided to give it a try before suggesting it to my daughter, I got a squuzeable bottle, mixed the salt and water and the proceeded to try it out.
I havent got sinus problems but my eyes seem to be a little less puffy and it feels like i have something under my eyelids and every so often i feel as if i have a very mild case of"swimmers head".
Its not unpleasant, i didnt feel as if i would drown, just wondering if there is anyone out there that does this on a regular basis

I tried it before and didn't like it all and it's a bit messy to deal with if you ask me.

I use a nasal douche (with the salt), not a netti pot. I use it due to hayfever. In the height of summer I was using it twice a day and it did help a bit. For the rest of the summer I use as needed. Not any use when truely bunged up though as the water cannot get through.
With the trapped water you could try leaning your head forward and giving it a gentle shake. Might force it out.0 -
I've a friend who lives in Arizona where the pollen count is outrageous. She swears by her Neti Pot. I bought one last time I visited but I'm scared to try it!!0
