Just wanted to say your budget for energy is too low, you should read the meters on a monthly basis to start with and roughly calculate your spending.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Fair point, hadn't thought of reading the meters monthly. When we've been here a month, we can certainly do that! At least I have some control over OH and use of gas and electricity... my house shares were a nightmare!
Got through to HSBC at last - my loan repayment for this month didn't go through (surprise surprise...) but as I had made two payments just before Christmas (an error on the bank's behalf that they refused to accept...) one of those could be used to credit my May payment.
Have also managed to increase overdraft slightly so at least I can pay my rent, if nothing else.
Nope, can't pay anything else.
Onward, onward...0
