Paul McKenna CD / DVD

Hi there

Have Paul McKenna CD Easy Weight Loss and I'm finding it really helpful.

Question is - is the DVD pretty much the same thing? I am considering getting this too, but if it's duplicating the CD I'll save the money [of course!]

I just watched the series on Sky and really enjoyed it. It was also good to see the techniques in action and to see others asking questions etc. I'm not sure if the DVD is the TV series or something else but if it was on EBay for a decent price then I would be tempted to buy it.

And somewhat off topic - is it just me or is his voice seriously gorgeous? If I were a teenager, I would heart Paul McKenna LOL

His other CD's for motivation & success are also very good. They help me alot with 'switching off' at the end of the day when I listen to them on my iPod.

I find it really relaxing and I also find that as I come to eat, things he has said come back to me. Was always very sceptical but am impressed so far.

I watched the first couple of episodes on sky and thought I'd give it a go but was very skeptical however I have lost over 2 and a half stone as a result and its still coming off

The cd and book just repeats the TV series, dont know about the dvd

I bought a CD some time ago and found it, and his voice, really really creepy! Freaked me out. I gave it away after 2 listening sessions.
Wouldn't recommend him to anyone after that!

Nooo. His voice is amazing!!!!! Can anyone tell me if there's anything interesting after he says "now, count down from 300.....(oooh I'm going all tingly!!!), 299, 298, 297...." coz I fall asleep!!!!! Haven't got past that bit and I've been doing this for 3 weeks now!!

I too would be interested to know about the DVD. The only one I can find was released in June 2004 so that can't be the Sky version that's been on recently. There is a review on amazon that says its full of beaches and sunsets and his voice "droning" on (I would not call it droning, but this fella on amazon obviously thought it was...). I think the CD is more helpful because you can shut your eyes and relax (and go to sleep!), but the DVD I presume you need to sit and watch!

I lost 5 and a half pounds in the first 2 weeks and now am into my 4th week. I think its fab..... (I presume something is going into my subconscious state whilst I am asleep?!!)

If anyone has any news on a new DVD, I'd be interested to know...

If you like this sort of thing try the Anhtony Robbins books which are really useful in increasing performance and motivation. All of what McKenna does Robbins has been doing for much longer.

However, the american accent can be wearing at times!! As he doesn't do hypnosis he focuses more ont he NLP which is what you see Mckenna doing in his programme.

Well worth a look in my opinion....
