Buying something extremely discounted in the sale would be the only reason to buy something from a retail high street jeweller like Goldsmiths. Markups are huge.

My advice if you want gold or diamonds is to go somewhere like http://www.jewellerycatalogue.co.uk where prices are always very low. Avoid the high street at all costs.

That Versace watch combined with some Tesco vouchers may be worth a punt. However I can't identify the watch and what it sells for on other sites, anybody know what model the watch is? Reduced from £1100 to £275, sounds like it may be a nasty watch.

Sorry, I should have been clear. Jewellery Catalogue doesn't sell watches but the rings, necklaces, bracelets, bangles etc are top quality and the prices are excellent maybe even unbeatable.

They wont let you buy sale goods with the Tesco vouchers. I got lumbered with Goldsmith vouchers after following the winning christmas post for watches from Goldsmiths sale as a christmas present. The stores don't take them for sale goods.
