Anyone used Eurolens for contacts?

I'm not sure where to post this but I want to buy some contacts and Eurolens have them very reasonably priced. Has anyone used them before? are they 'safe' to use?
Thanks
Thanks

Haven't used the company you mention but I do use www.daysoftlenses.com
Daily lenses work out at £10 per month. I used to use Boots Daily lenses and these seem just as good.0 -
if you buy lenses from the online companies like these, where do you get your yearly contact lens check ups done? Does paying for that separately not mean it works out about the same cost overall? In Boots, D&A etc etc the check up is included in the monthly cost of lenses.MTC NMP Membership #62 - made it back to size 12 after my children & I'm staying here!0

Thanks Topher- will check them out.
Apples i used Tescos- it was £15 for the initial consultation including a set of 02 optics, then aftercare is free for the year. Its soo much cheaper!July Win: Nokia 58000 -
I just pay for an eye test every year. I've been told I only need to be seen every 2 years but I'd rather go more often. My last eye test cost around £10, and when I was with Boots I was paying £22 per month (I think!). So I'm saving roughly £132 per year doing it this way.0

Ah what a shame daysoftlenses don't stock my brand

They only do their own brand. They list other brands to suggest what version of their lenses you should get - I'd contact them to see what they recommend. If I remember correctly you can return any unopened boxes for a refund, so it might be worth the risk of trying one box out?
By the way I have no connection with the company apart from being a customer. I'm just pleased to save so much a year on lenses.0 -
you need a contact lens check up as well as an eye test though - they are two different things. Quick way to tell them apart (without meaning to state the obvious) is for an eye test you go in wearing your specs and for a contact lens check you go in wearing your lenses and should have had them in a while before the check up.
Do you get exactly the same lenses Topher as you got in Boots or have you downgraded your lenses?MTC NMP Membership #62 - made it back to size 12 after my children & I'm staying here!0 -
Once you have worn the lenses you buy online for a year you'll need a check up though and Tesco won't do that for £15 will they? The initial consulation is usually free/cheap to encourage you to try contact lenses but an ongoing yearly check up is usually much more as they can't subsidise the cost if you are buying online and only going to your optician for the check up.Thanks Topher- will check them out.

Oh I take full advantage of them
Remember that last week they were offering free sight tests plus 400 clubcard points.
No its definately covered by the £15- ~I know because I went for a 6 monthly check up on thursday. They had my details on file and was not charged a penny. They did ask if I wanted to buy any lenses but I said nope because tesco.com was cheaper
They were quite happy with that. So in all I've seen them 3 times (1st visit, then after a month, then after 6 months). July Win: Nokia 58000 -
Daysoft don't suggest an equivalent for Air Optix because their lenses are all conventional materials, whereas Air Optix are high oxygen.Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.
