I got a 20 pound note signed and want to have it framed. Anyone one know where I can get a suitable frame>?

Thanks

I'd put it or some backing paper, add a passe-par-tout (cardboard cut to frame the picture and normally in a contrasting colour) and frame it up like that. I think framing the note alone would look a bit odd.

Like that you could really make it stand out and make it something of a talking point.

Do you reacon its a good idea to get the note laminated?

dont laminate the note, just iron the note without the steam on and put it in one of those glass frames you get from the pound shop. You can put a contrasting coloured card behind it if you like.

I doubt you'll know who it is. But its signed by Deadmau5 AKA Joel Zimmerman. He's an Canadian DJ.

Is it really worth framing if he is not well known. Keep it for 20 years and you'll only be able to buy a small loaf with it
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

HAHAHA. Thats funny. No in the last two years he's come from nowhere to in top 10 djs and his music is getting better and better. I don't care whats its worth. Its the fact that I've always followed him and managed to get it, like for memories. I'm keeping it forever!!!!!:D

He's extremely well known in the Dance music industry.

The best thing to do with a £20 note right now is spend it before it's not worth the paper it's printed on.

I can't think of any collectable Canadian since the beginning of history.

But hey ho I guess they'll have to start somewhere and it may as well be a DJ.

I'm impressed even if no-one else is ;)

If you really want to present it well and do it justice, I'd go along to a framing shop and see what a professional recommends in terms of mount, frame etc. My friend is a professional framer and has framed all sorts of memoribilia for people and can make the most average item look really, really impressive.

Well whoever he is, you must think he's worth a £20 invesment so good luck to you with it.

One day this bloke could really hit the headlines, or he might have his writing hand chopped off in a freak DJ style accident and never be able to sign anything else ever again... you never know!
One things for sure tho, that autograph will always be worth at least 20 quid: a lot more than most of the signed celebrity photographs that are in circulation.

You can get clear frames from most pound shops.
ps. Can't you get done for writing on bank notes?
