Hope you can help me!
I have been avidly reading about the uses of bicarb - but its pretty expensive to buy in small amounts in the cooking section of the supermarket.
Where is the cheapest place to buy it in larger quantities than a tiny tub?
Thanks
Trin

You could try chemical suppliers, it's sodium bicarbonate. For non food use it would be fine, I would check it was sold as 'food safe' if you also want to cook with it.0

Chinese supermarket sells it in bags of (from memory) around a kg for a few quid. Chinese takeaways etc use it for tenderising meat and chicken.0

Hi Trin, do you have a scoopamarket near you where you can buy it loose? I bought mine in tescos.A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Try tescos, or buy on line from Summer Naturals0

If you are near to a Wing Yip Chinese supermarket then they sell it in 5 kilo tubs and white vinegar in 5 litre containers.
