Hi there, i am a pwc waiting for my nrp's debt to made into a liability order. I have had the forms which ask if i know anything about his finances etc, and have sent those back about 3/4 weeks ago, so this thread of of great interest to me. Unfortunately when i speak to the csa they keep advising me to ring next week then next week then nxt week and still no info. I am not being impatient, just wondered the same kind of questions that Rubymia has asked. 3 yrs for it to get to this level, i have learnt a lot of patience!!!! lol. So really just wanted to know if anyone had a rough timescale???0

probably a long list going to court for L.O.s as it seems it is just proceedure of the csa to extract the money anyway without any real form of defence0

It can take about 3 months to get a court date for the NRP. They will tell you when it is (onve they know) but they won't tell you where. For once it is not the CSA holding things up but actually an external environment.
After the LO has been granted your case officer should go through what the next course of action is.0 -
I think but am not sure that a LOs are now an admin job and dont have to go to the Courts, saves the CSA haveing to lie I suppose!0
-
It hasn't been implemented yet but it will be that LO's are no longer dealt with by the courts.
And there are plenty of LO's which are completely justified.0 -
So why not have them before a Judge if they are OK then they will be put in place, but what about the ones that are dreamed up and should not be there. No longer inicont untill proved guilty any more. Magna Carter mean anything here, like the basic principls of Law.
Or is it that we have moved in to a dictatorship and noone told me!0
