Morning People,
I may not be in the right forum so I apologize before hand, i'm trying to do on line surveys, the one in particular is the Texperts's survey. You have to do an on line test to see if you qualify, does anybody know where i can access the test. I've had a look but can't see no links to click for a test. If anyone knows how to do it please let me know. Thanxs0 -
Many thanks for all your help,at least i know roughly where i stand now,i just do not fancy having to point it out to my manager. Thanks again.
Oh one more thing,if i did move in July or August or September at the latest.I have had one week off so far and 2 weeks booked for the end of May(because we thought we might of moved for round about then)say i left in August, and booked another week off then, would i be going over my holiday entitlement, pro rata etc.Would i owe them?
5.4 weeks for one year
January to July (allowing for leaving at beginning of August) = half a year (6 months)
So 5.4 divided by 2 = 2.7 weeks.
You will have taken 3 weeks and therefore will have taken 0.3 of a week more than you have "earned" and are likely to have that deducted from your pay. Check your written particulars to see whether that is something they say they will do.0 -
so my husband gets the basic entitlement and buys extra holidays so he get 6 weeks per year, (they deduct the payment from his wages each week) so surely should he have been paying less holiday deduction each week as the minimum holiday entitlement has gone up, has he still only gets 6 weeks per year....0

The most recent increase was from 1 April.
Whether he is paying too much would depend perhaps on whether he is paying a flat rate or a percentage of his earnings to "buy" the holiday.
He needs to get his employer to explain the deduction calculation.0 -

he spoke to his employer and they did not know the minimum entitlement had gone up in april, is the raise for everyone no matter where you work0 -
Yes, the statutory minimum applies to everyone, so your husband's employer needs to review the arrangements for all staff, including him.0

apparently where he works they get all bank holidays paid, plus 30 days holiday (6 weeks), so the extra holiday he buys is correct.. thanks all for your help0
