Tesco Cheese strings 8 pack

In Tesco Burnage they had cheese strings 8 pack at £1.. another tesco i went to were selling them at £2 per pack..

Did you buy one to see what they scanned at in the second Tesco?
More than likely they had just left the old price label up (£2) and they would have scanned at £1 anyway, IMHO. That happens all the time.
Tesco prices scan the same in most stores as the tills are set centrally with the prices unless the store overrides it for a special offer or to put right an error. The only main exceptions are the smaller Express and Metro stores where their prices can be higher (different pricing system).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

These were in my tescos today, priced at £1, then on another display I saw them priced at £2. I bought quite a few hoping for a DTD but they scanned at £1.
