Hi - Does anyone know if an endowment claim company will take on a claim if we have already started the ball rolling ourselves? Thanks in advance.

Whats the point if you have started yourself?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. The compensation offered is not acceptable and I feel like its the big boys versus the little people and more clout required.0

The compensation is calculated by one of two calculation methods defined by the FSA. You wont get more by using anyone else.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). That depends on whether the calculation is correct, ie they put the right data in, in the first place and honest, meaning they followed all the rules. as a start point who upheld your case, this may help me at least identify if it is more likely than not to be honest0

As DOTW pointed out that assumes that the redress offered has been calculated correctly both in data input terms and methodology - and there are far more then two calculation methods stipulated by the FOS, depending on a claiment's situations.
However most claims firms will not take on complaints that have already had an offer generated (mainly because of potential FOS expiry issues).
If you are not happy with the offer made you can always refer your case to the FOS anyway...Who's going to fly your plane? / When you need to make your getaway....0
