Could anyone help me find somewhere to buy a bottle of green and/or brown ink for my OH's Cross fountain pen?
I have searched and searched and can only see the usual blue and black!!

Have you tried John Lewis? If they don't have any in stock, they will no doubt be able to order some for you. Most stores will post it to you for free.Gone ... or have I?0

Is there a Paperchase near you? Alternatively, you could try hitting up an independent stationery shop (I know my local one does non-standard inks)
Edit: ooh - http://www.mrpen.co.uk/index1.html - awful website but they do sell Cross refills in green.0 -
I think an Independant shop is my only hope!!

Why not just mix a bottle of blue and a bottle of yellow?

if it doesn't need to be Cross ink this may be worth a look

If the pen uses cartridges, you can get brown ink cartridges here:

Do you have a little independant craft shop nearby? Or maybe even a hobbycraft? I'm sure they would have a caligraphy section. I know our local smiths only has blue ink as I am looking for some, but I thought it was a bit pricey!C Card £5218.68 (Feb 2011)£2 coins (No 085) - £190Mort overpayments 2011 - £418.060

I used to write in turquoise ink at school.

Haven't seen any for years it used to be in a bottle by Quink.
Found this The fountain pen network which maybe of interest.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

You can still get Quink ink - I have a bottle of blue/black - that's all we used at school.
Try looking in Rymans - I think that's where I got my last bottle and I know that Rymans also sell blotting paper which Smiths don't seem too, the last time I asked in Smiths I was told that no-one uses fountain pens anymore:rolleyes:0
