This doesn't look very legal to me...

You are basically getting a registration code for software that you have not bought and then using it on a copy posted on a file sharing server.

So why does the download come from a file-sharing site and not direct from Paragon?

The link you posted is for the registration not for the software. I am not saying that this is not legal it just doesn't feel right. I even got a casino site piggybacking the download site when opened.
