How about this ?
The new Dell 24" widescreen flat panel monitor (2405FPW) costs £942.35 if bought on its own.
If bought as part of this system, the monitor and base unit cost only £845.62 together, inc delivery and VAT !!!0 -
Hi
Only trouble with this machine, no pci-e/agp slot, so its no good if you want it for gaming.
Hope this helps0 -
Machine is a bit underpowered too if you are into serious gaming, but you can put in a FX6200 PCI card if you wanted to, which will boost the gaming performance quite a bit.Only trouble with this machine, no pci-e/agp slot, so its no good if you want it for gaming. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -

Only 2 pci slots on this board and they're both being used, one by a modem (don't know why they still put these in) and 1 by sound card, so you would have to remove one.
These machines are just not very upgradeable, I personally think the 5150 is the better buy if your going to buy a Dell computer.
But if you just want it for browsing the internet/burning cd/dvds/typing documents then it should be fine0 -
The 3100 has onboard sound, so shouldn't have a soundcard in the 2nd PCI slot (unless you specify a Creative Audigy as an option). It's also got a PCI-e 1x slot (designed for things like high-speed network, SATA and sound cards rather than graphics though - although Matrox do a low-end G550 card that fits). I'd agree that the 5150 or 9150 are better bets for the serious gamer though!0

Thats showing as a refurb, although given that these are a brand new model, one wonders whether it is not a back-street outlet for Dell ??
Having looked again I see that they are selling refurbs of the 20" model at exactly the same price as Dell are selling them new, so one must assume that these really are new stock. A new price crash in the monitor market ??0 -
ok guys, this offer has gone, but there is a new one, similar value
http://configure.euro.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?b&c=uk&cs=ukdhs1&l=en&oc=D03515&rbc=D03515&s=dhs&sbc=ukdhsrsdimen_5150_3&fb=1
its an extra £50 but you get a 3.0ghz P4 HT processor now and 128MB ATI Radeon® X300 SE HyperMemory graphics card
most other of the specs are the same, but you must select the free 19" monitor, it seems to pick the 15" by default.
