I'm 30 in May 2010, nothing that would require big spends in my list as we've got to get out of debt first, they can come in the 40 before 40 list, lol.
    So, 30 things to do before I'm 30 -
    1. Get a tattoo
    2. Read 30 books (since having ds2 I've stopped reading books, which I used to love doing)
    3. Create 30 scrapbook pages (this will include my first page )
    4. Learn to crochet
    5. Get house decorated (only Ds2's bedroom that doesnt need doing)
    6. Buy those lil unnecessary bits & bobs I want but keep putting off (such as silver bin, matching lampshade for bedroom etc)
    7. Become debt free
    8. Make a sock monkey
    9. Lose 1 stone
    10. Get fit
    11. Get something published in a magazine
    12. Win a competition
    13. Ebay all my unwated clothing
    14. Go out somewhere different every month
    15. Cook something new every month
    16. Watch 1st series lost
    17. Teach the kids a new craft every month
    18. Go to safari park (something I've always wanted to do)
    19. Make a gingerbread house from scratch
    20. Visit cinema once a month
    21. Make 5 hair clips
    22. Be involved with one of OHs hobbies at least once a month
    23. Teach Ds1 a different meal each month
    24. Make my dragon dress
    25. Do something that takes me out of my comfort zone once a month
    26. Complete my "celebration" folder.
    27. Digitalise all my non digital photos
    28. Create a visual family tree
    29. Catch a train for a family outing
    30. Try a new craft every month
You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground

It is 6.47 and in 17 days my wife will be 60.(Grrrrrrrr looks about 35)
I need ideas to help celebrate the big day.
The pension is done, bus pass in the post, free prescriptions sorted, signed up for Age Concern.
How would you celebrate the day?
We do not have time to do 60 things before as suggested above, can we double or treble some?
Family are all waiting for me to resolve, thanks all.

Is there a favourite restaurant, pub etc that yr wife likes,

what about dividing a 60 list between the family so the pressure off you, doesnt have to be expensive things,

what about a nice photo of the 2 of u framed

a weekend break as an iou
