Seasonal Staff

I am a seasonal worker and work from March - November this season and the last season and have been told I might be able to get some tax back because it's seasonal work and not full time is this correct? If so what do I do? Thanks

Possibly, you can write to HM Revenue & Customs and ask them to check if you are due a refund.

Is this your only source of income? If your employer keeps you on the payroll and pays you in March (i.e. at the end of the tax year) then it is possible that your tax is correct and any adjustment will be included in your March pay.

Did your employer give you a P45 in November and did you hand it back to them when you started again in March?

Are you claiming JSA during your non working periods?
