Have to agree with Venezia and lolly5648 about the size. If these are large I'd hate to see a small one. Ours just about feed a family of four but if the little un's were older than seven and two we would have been struggling. There was nothing wrong with the chicken and it's still a good price though IMO they're being a big naughty in describing them as 'large'.The fridge is empty, the walls are damp, there's no hot water
And I look like a tramp and tramps like us

I agree they are not large. I got one yesterday. The hot cabinet was empty and they were bagging up a fresh batch. There was a man in front of me, as the SA put the chickens in the cabinet he took them all and put them in his trolley. He did ask me how many I wanted and gave me one. What was he going to do with 11 roast chickens? Does he have a very big family or does he run a cafe nearby. The mind boggles.0

Our Tesco Extra has a "one chicken per customer" sign on the deli counter.0

got two the other day, had one with roasties and veg one night and the other with noodles last night. I wouldnt say they were large but they fed two adults and two teenagers adequately.Bargain.0

I much prefer morrisons, tescos are as tough as old boots!:hello:"Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing it doesn't go in a fruit salad

I got one, and while it was enough for the 4 of us I wouldn't call it large. I have bought large chickens on occasion, when it's all that's left, and they have been much larger, with plenty spare for the next day. These were smaller than that, but still good for £2.52% tight0
