Possibility of increasing mortgage?

Thanks dimbo61 and chivers1977. A letter came through Saturday offering the further advance - thank goodness! There is a form to return, and no mention of solicitors, so they must have put that in the text by mistake.
There's no penalty for overpayments for the further advance so if we can afford to, we will.
They have valued the house without visiting us at all - we didn't even see anyone looking around outside! - and not agreed at all with the mortgage advisor, in fact gone even lower than the Nationwide House Prices Calculator, but since we aren't selling for decades (if ever) and they have agreed to the further advance, it doesn't matter. I do wonder why they let the mortgage advisor guess at prices if she is often out by over 50 thousand pounds!
From the £250 minimums we were paying (that would still have taken ridiculous amounts of time to pay off the credit card debt) we are now committed to paying less than £100 a month and we are quite relieved. We'll be cutting up the cards so as not to be tempted to use them in future!PPI on Natwest loan, Barclayloan, MBNA credit card, and Mortgagecare all repaid just for asking in 2012/2013!
Barclaycard - PPI refund refused 26/01/13, ombudsman upheld 12 May 2014, Barclays resisted until March 2015 - FOS say Barclays are calculating an offer, they have 8 weeks.0
