Unless you have a reason not to, then pay the full amount..unless I'm missing something?

I asked to pay £15 per month towards this debt, but they said no twice and have said if not paid in 14 days court proceedings will follow. My brother said he could lend me £500 and i can add to that with my child benefit next week and with a bit of spare cash, the total i can raise is £680  I think i'll write to them and see if they will except that

I intend to offer £600 an £1,100 when I've saved it up. I think anything over 50% is fair.

Have you had a default notice yet? Usually they are more willing to accept a lump sum if you have already been defaulted, from what I understand.

Yep, offer them a lump sum. Can I ask who the creditor is?

Although, that being said, it's a shame that you would have to borrow money to pay them off. Are you not with Payplan or CCCS? Capital One could take you to court to have a CCJ issued against you, but the court would only make you pay what you could afford anyway (£15 a month?). Do you really want to borrow more money?
